or just chuck it and the issues will be moot...of course this comes from the girl who made gluten free coconut flour brownies and ate 2 yesterday (blew 500 calories). emoticon

@LIBBYL1 I guess that's a positive way to see it and a good sign that I didn't want more than a slice. emoticon

Thanks, excellent idea. I never have cake so I didn't know you can freeze it and still be ok. Will do that and just take it for somebody to enjoy it later on.

Going to exercise now.

Thanks for the support and ideas!!! emoticon

Have faith in yourself to be strong! It sounds like she really needs to sit down with you so you can explain just how wonderful she is, and how important it is for her to support you in your determination to get fit and healthy.

Carrot cake freezes really well. So pop it in the freezer and bring it out to take to a Christmas morning tea at work or wherever.

Of course, if she lives with you and might be offended by this, perhaps you could take it, piece by piece, to work and either give it away or bin it (a sad but perhaps unavoidable alternative).

Stay focused! We're here to cheer you on!

I like the idea of slicing the cake up and putting it in the freezer.

If you can't portion it out over several weeks (by freezing single servings) .... Hide it out of sight tonight and take it to work tomorrow, or give it to a neighbor, or just throw it away as soon as she leaves.

Slice the cake up and place in individual sandwich bags and place in the freeze. I do this all the time. Out of sight out of mind. emoticon
