So it's Thanksgiving week and my kids are off from school and my husband is still "in between jobs" so everyone is at home except me. I am stuck here at work. My oldest daughter Tori is spending the day making pies for the family and her friends - she is making 11 pies this week! I so wish I could be there with her making pies and telling stories. I am missing so much. But at least I have Thursday - Sunday off to be with them. We're going to my Mom's house on Saturday to celebrate Thanksgiving with them. Thursday will be Thanksgiving at my house with a ham and all the fixings (we had our turkey on Sunday while my hubby was in town). We'll also decorate the tree on Thursday. Then on Friday Miss Nina will take the kids for a day of fun and let me have a chance to wrap the Christmas presents I have already bought that are currently in boxes in the office (hidden from view of nosey people!). I will also do my grocery shopping on Friday to get ready for going to my Mom's house on Saturday. It will be a good week, I just wish I was home now!
