I think you are committed. It is a good thing to decide to clean up. You dont appear to be stressed just assertive in your decision to organize. OCD is is characterized by recurrent, unwanted thoughts (obsessions) and/or repetitive behaviors ... It doesnt sound like you are cleaning the same place over and over.
It sounds as if you are committed to cleaning your house. It sounds like you are taking some pride in what you are doing.

Don't be afraid to talk to a doctor and ask for help. That is the hardest thing to do, but once you do it the stress almost disappears.

Have you been talking to your family while you are going through this process? They can really be supportive if they understand what you are going through and it sounds like you need some support!

Yes, moving around, up and down and making heavy decisions will burn off calories. Just in time for the holidays. Now doesn't life feel lighter without all the "stuff" you've been dragging around?

I just cleaned out my spice cupboard and a cupboard with baking supplies. Took my 2 hours for just that little job!

I use to follow the SLOB SISTERS "Pam Young and Peggy Jones" and I worked really hard on being organized. Pam still has a web site and Peggy retired. www.makeitfunanditwillgetdone.com
