This year, I'm feelin' it. Happy Thanksgiving, everybody!
The Thursday night dinner is not really what I am focused on, though of course that will be fun. What I'm focused on are the things in life that I have, how lucky I am, the mindset I happen to be in. It's the little things.
I'm grateful and thankful. Things I'm thankful for:
My husband who is a good friend
Two days off work! Four day weekend!
My trainer, and the consistency that she helps me achieve
Workouts that relieve my stress and boost my self-esteem
The 10 minute walk to and from the gym...even when I walk through rain I'm still not driving through rush hour traffic
My attitude that I don't want to lose fast weight, I want to incorporate healthy moderation and a love of movement
My SparkPeople phone app, that lets me track food more easily than I used to
Monday night yoga
Sound campy? Well, probably. But it's true. I feel fit, my stress levels are so different when I exercise, and I feel like this year has really been helping me develop into someone who takes care of herself. I'm a more content me.
So thank you, world. I appreciate what I have.
