I'm doing pretty well with setting realistic goals and making progress towards them.
I'm finding that if I set goals for actions, my ulterior motive for losing weight or inches will ultimately follow. But I can't set a weight loss goal on its own without the actions being laid out.
For two months I've come within about a half pound of my end of the month goal. Very satisfying. (Not to mention jeans fitting that haven't fit in years.)
Goals set for the next month.
Drink lots of water. Hit the 8 glasses goal each day.
No eating in front of a screen, including the TV, computer or ipod.
Count calories and be consistently at 1600 or less.
With that last goal I will also have to specifically plan my holiday joy.
