Monday Madness

Had one of those absolutely crazy nights at work. The kind where you look at the clock and think "Holy COW where have the past two hours gone!" The kind where you eat your supper cold and on the run because you have just been too busy to eat. The kind where you and your co-worker look and each other and starting laughing so you don't scream and/or cry.

The best part of this? The gym actually relaxed me tonight. I was wound tight when I walked in the door. I was late getting there (I was meeting two co-workers) so that added to my tension. I did a quick warmup and hopped on the treadmill. About 5 minutes in, I stopped thinking about work. 10 minutes in and I was actually feeling the tension leaving my body. It was AWESOME!

I have found that feeling change, is one of the best things about exercise. If you are stressed or angry or what ever it helps. Like last night after dinner I was feeling very sick. I did not know why. So I went for a walk around our circle in the cool air without a coat. It felt wonderful. When I first started I did not know if I was going to finish. I prayed to God to help me get around and back home. By the time I was half way around I was feeling better. The circle is 0.7 ten of a mile. When I came home, I did another 30 minutes of cardio and 60 on a stationary bike. I just could not believe that I felt so much better after that. Next time I know to do this again. Thanks for blogging. Teresa
