I had company this morning, so I had to walk Cooper early and forgo my morning run with my friend and running buddy, Tricia. So, Cooper and I walked for just under an hour (and we didn't run into any deer today). Then I had an appointment so Cooper went out to the farm to play with kids and be adored, as I wasn't certain how long I would be. After my appointment I stopped to trim a friend's cat's claws. That cat is huge! He must be at least 25 pounds. That is about twice Cooper's size. Then I went to the sporting good's store and bought a pair of 10# dumbbells so that I can get more of a challenge from the ST exercises I do at home. The store doesn't carry anything over 10# though, so I will have to look around when I want to increase weight again. I also stopped at the grocery store and picked salad stuff and fruit. I normally shop on Thursdays for my fresh fruit and veggies, but since Thanksgiving is this Thursday I figured I had better get it done early. Then it was back out to the farm to get Cooper. He is always so happy to see me. It makes me happy to see him so happy and excited.
After I got the groceries put away I took Cooper out for his evening walk, but my heart wasn't really in it. It was dark and cold, but Cooper was full of energy so we still went 3 miles. I also hooped for about 6 minutes. I am slowly getting more proficient with the hula hoop.
My middle niece will be here tomorrow to walk the dog with me in the morning. The weather is supposed to stay clear, so hopefully her complaining will be kept to a minimum. My eldest niece is in town for a couple of days. I have yet to see her, but I am looking forward to hearing tales from her time Down Under. I think we are having a family taco night on Wednesday, as she is going to her mother's for Thanksgiving. Things are still kind of up in the air, so we will see.
Today was just "one of those days" for me... just have to get through it and get to tomorrow. I have great hope for tomorrow! I know it will be a better day.
