Ok...this is my third week now, and I'm quite proud of me for doing so well, I only hope that I can continue this momentum.
So - what did I do well last week? Last Monday, I said that I would focus on 1. Exercise, 2. Fruit and Veg and 3. Water.
1. Exercise - Cycled everyday from Monday to Sunday 20-30mins max!! So this isn't an issue. I have a Fitbit now that is going to kick me in the butt to move more and to aim more. My first badge that I have to try and accomplish is 5000 steps - so far, the most I have reached is 3000, but I promise I will get there eventually this week. I have an exercise ball now, so that also adds on to my exercise regime, which came with a dvd on exercises as well as stretches and relaxation use. I'm aiming to lose 8kgs, as I do want to start walking again. Cycling has enabled me to exercise without hurting my knees, so once I feel like I'm ready to walk, I'll include in my exercise regime. Strength training is something I want to work on, so I will focus on doing that this week, at least 3 sessions per week.
2. Fruit and Vegetables - still trying to get a handle on this, but have done well last week. Both have been part of my meals and snacks last week, so I feel I still need to work on this.
3. Water - all good.
I've joined the HLC Challenge, I know its going to help me along as well. I'm excited at the prospect of losing, any small number is a good number, and no matter what, any loss is good, small or big. It all depends on how much I want it!! And I want it bad!!
This week - focus on: Fruit & Vegetables as well as Strength training.
