Hello. I've been through a lot these past couple of weeks and I thought it was blog worthy. It all started with the wrost headache of my life. I thought it was a sinus infection, it was so bad I was off work all week. Friday my husband and I headed to Target but he said my speech started to slur and it made him so nervous he took me to the ER. The ER gave me a CT scan and found bleeding in my brain. I was admitted to the ICU that night. Come to find out I suffered from a brain aneurysm, I'm only 29, so this can happen at any given time. I was then transferred to a hospital more equipped to take care of this type of issue. I was transported on a bumpy ambulance ride to Bronson Hospital in Kalamazoo, MI, where they proceeded with brain sugergy (yes, brain surgery, scary, I know). I now have about 34 staples in my head going down the right side of my face. The doctor told me he was nervous after surgery because I kept having brain spasms but kept saying I was a poster child for this short of condition since I was doing so well afterwards, no double vision, no headahces, just a lot of swelling from surgery. I'm so Thankful to be here today and finally at home. I believe that I had a guardian angel watching out for me, otherwise I'm not sure how I made it. Just note to self, get those headaches checked out, no matter what. :) Happy Thanksgiving!!!
