First, I'll just start by saying that my first weekend was a success, as was my first week overall of my weight loss plan! Hooray!!!
Today was the first full day of work that I had since beginning my weight loss, and it was a long day. Not a bad day, but it was long. I subbed in a special education classroom and then after work I tutored. So I am finally back home and I'm a little tired.
I ate well today. Being out of the house took away the option to snack during the day. Now I have to resist the urge I have to go and get a big snack (or two) like I usually would because I know I will be eating dinner soon.
I also have to motivate myself to fit in a workout now. I am absolutely NOT a morning person, so waking up any earlier than I have to to exercise before getting ready for work is just not going to happen. That leaves me with right now. Again, my usual habit would be to sit on the sofa, watch TV, and eat snacks until I ate dinner. So I will remind myself of my goals and how badly I want to reach them and I will exercise now instead. I have to keep my motivation up!
