In an odd turn of events, 4 years ago EVERYTHING i owned was stolen from me, my kids and my husband. the entire contents of our apartment was stolen. including my dumbbells and my exercise ball. today, i finally purchased another set. yay! now i can do some of the workouts on my on demand and on spark people!! it only goes up from here.. haha.
i had a weird weekend. hubby wanted to eat out every single meal. and this was after a super, super cheat day on friday. yup, won't be doing that again! ordered my OLD usual.. the ''super quesadilla''.. and boy is it SUPER. huge. delicious. and an even bigger mistake! after consorting with my sparkpeoples... i'm going to limit my cheat days to every 5lbs. that way i have to earn them instead of them just being assumed as an every weekend kinda thing. lesson learned. the rest of the weekend i did at least keep it within my calorie range.. although i probably should've just said no altogether. one step at a time, lacie! i'm still working on my husband as well.. he's rebelling like crazy. an i can't help but mentally count his calories, too... it makes me cringe sometimes. but i try to remind myself that he's a man with a very physical job and a lot more muscle mass than me (hubba hubba) so i don't give him a hard time, usually.. now when he's asking me to get a bowl of ice cream after he had a bagel with cream cheese AND a pop tart... that's where i draw the line. :p
i've pretty much accepted the possibility that i may NOT lose any weight this week... considering it's thanksgiving and i have TWO to attend.Thursday at my in laws and Saturday at my mom's. And the awful fast food weekend, of course. so if i do lose, it will be a pleasant surprise.
i'm still trying, though! i have a doctor's appointment on December 4th and i want some good results to show. (my doctor is a to the dorable.)
