I don't really like the 2 liter bottles of soda, because usually they go flat before the soda is gone. Blucky! Flat soda is not worth drinking. (Now, I drink diet and only once a day at the most.) Today, I uttered a prayer out loud. "LORD, DON'T LET ME LOSE MY FIZZ."
The soon approaching Thanksgiving and all the days heading toward Christmas and New Years, kind of freaks me out. Why? Because I want to and need to stay on the healthy course that I have been enjoying since the summer. I looked over my Spark calendar for November and I noticed that 6 days I ate over my calorie range. And since I injured my back, I've been a bit sluggish in the exercise department. I'm kind of afraid about the holiday season. I LOVE being TWENTY POUNDS LIGHTER and I'm LONGING to LOSE MORE and STAY ON COURSE.
I was reading inspirational quotes on Spark last night and writing down my favorites. Here are some of them:
"If you're tired of starting over, stop giving up."
"Go the extra mile. It's never crowded."
"I'm not losing weight. I'm getting rid of it. I have no intention of finding it again."
"Do not let what you cannot do, interfere with what you can do."
"At any given moment you have the power to say, 'THIS IS NOT HOW THE STORY IS GOING TO END.'
"There are no shortcuts to any place worth going."
I NEED YOU SPARK FAMILY. If you have any wisdom or insight or stuff that you are doing right now to "Keep your Fizz" during the holiday season, I would be GRATEFUL TO HEAR FROM YOU.
HAPPY THANKSGIVING to my incredible, beautiful, persevering Sparkers!
