Hurt My Knee

I hurt my knee last night, during my workout, and immediately after, there was a big blue bruise with a white outline around it on the exact middle front of my knee. It hurt really bad to walk around and kept buckling from under me. :(

This morning, it still feels a little "off", the bruise is still there, and I had a strength training routine to do today. Ugh. I decided to do some pilates, and I made it through all 40 minutes of my pilates tape.

I really hate how injuries put a damper on things. I'm just so glad I was able to get some fitness in anyway.

    I'm with you on that. I hurt my back yesterday playing nerf basketball with a group of middle schoolers! I was bummed to be "sidelined" but then discovered I could still do light exercise in the pool today along with walking at a slower pace. I think it's awesome that you found a way to keep going with your fitness program even if not what you had planned. That's an encouragement to me. I hope your knee will feel a lot better tomorrow!
