The De - Cluttering, is Going Ok, So Far, Day 4.

Monday, November 19, 2012

well i have reached day 4, of my de - cluttering, going ok, so far, i have, found Carrier, Bags full, of old, Magazines &, Newspapers, that i, thought i, had thrown, out before. emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon

Most of these bags full, of Newspapers Magazines empty Wine Bottles, empty Cider Cans empty Lager, Cans empty Beer Cans empty, Diet Cola Bottles empty Diet, Lemonade Bottles. emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon

Empty Cider Bottles were all, found in Carrier Bags in, my Hall Cupboard Downstairs near, my Front Door !!!! !!!!. emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon

This was not what i, wanted to have happen at, all all i wanted to, have happen was to live, in a nice clean &, tidy Flat but that has, not exactly worked out as, to how i planned it.TBCTBCTBCTBC

The fact that you are on Day 4 is a good sign that you are finally wakin gup to what has been going on around you! It's a good thing to finally step back and take a really good look at what has been happening around you.

Forge on, my friend!

Ahh I need to get started on decluttering too!!!

I have plastic newspaper bags out the wazoo, was wanting to make them into "plastic yarn" for others who want to use it for crochet or knitting practice... I have about a 6-8 foot "scarf" knitted out of this stuff on my loom knitter thing. It looks kinda cool, various shades of blue. I need to find my instructions so I can get it knitted off the loom...

And plenty of other stuff to declutter too.

With all you're finding and throwing out, take note for the future that as soon as you finish something you don't need - whether cans, bottles, or magazines - throw them away/into recycling as soon as you're done. That will keep from having all that junk build up. If you have a garbage can for recycling then you can gather it all in one place and when it's full, stop what you're doing and get rid of it. If you procrastinate and put it off until 'later' you'll end up with the same problem again.

I too struggle against a never ending battle with clutter. Now that you've uncovered these items that you thought you had gotten rid of before, be sure that they don't sneak back into the closet again. It takes time, but soon you will have the uncluttered home you hope for.

I can identify with you ... I have been de-cluttering for the last few months; it is a job!!! I started in my closet -- went through and weeded out trash, giveaway, and hold for next go round. I have been through the closet and the next go round box two more times since then. I am getting ready to go through one more time and then to be done! Good luck on your de-clutter program.
