GRATEFUL FOR WHO WE ARE
When others are trying to act like people other than who they really are or they are using big vocabulary words that are not comfortable for them, it shows. When someone is attempting to be different that who God made them to be, he or she will not be able to get much done or be credible to others. We have to be ourselves. We have to be real. We have to be honest. Once we are truly grateful for who God made us to be, then He can use for His purpose.
Romans 12:2 “Don’t copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will learn to know God’s will for you, which is good and pleasing and perfect.” (NLT)
Dear Lord, we know how awkward it feels when we pretend to be someone we are not and how others look at us rather strange. Help us to remember today to be who You created us to be. Help us not to be ashamed about anything but to use our life experiences to share with others. We may not be as polished as others in areas of communication but there are those who need to hear Your message through us and they may not understand if we try to send the message any other way than how You desire us to send it. Thank You Lord for how You created us and help us be ourselves for You today. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
