Knitted scarves for Christmas (Pics)

Monday, November 19, 2012

Here is the latest project for my girlie gifts this year. The two around my neck are for myself the rest will be presents.

I will be giving 3 of them away today to Dave's neighbors and his hospice nurse. I want them to enjoy them as long as possible before Christmas. So I am spreading the cheer now.

What an awesome job you have done on these beautiful scarves. I have made quite a few of them myself, They are so fun to make and to wear. Your gift will be enjoyed for many years. Love all of them and you look so beautiful standing there with all of these lovely scarves on your arm. Hugs.

You are so talented, there seems to be no end to your talents! Unless you count the failed dumplings, lol. Just kidding, I love the scarves and wish I was on your gift list!

I do love the scarves. What a nice idea to give them away early so the wearer can enjoy them all season. My DIL is making one for DD, so I've got my mother and perhaps myself. I do think that I might make a pillow out of the "yarn" and use it on the sofa. They are unique when they are on the sofa, all ruffly.

Gorgeous, PJ! I looked for the yarn on Saturday when DH and I were in Springfield, and I DID find it at Hobby Lobby. I just didn't realize it...but I will be back in Springfield on Wednesday, and I might just HAVE to stop by! I love them and your recipients are so lucky.

Thank you for sharing.
