It's 5 am and I have no idea why I'm awake. My daughter doesn't have school this week and I've turned my alarm off. I think I woke up because I got too hot while sleeping. Sometimes that happens. Right now I'm debating on whether I should go back to bed or just stay up and take a nap later....

Running was really fun yesterday. My son decided to cooperate and it was great! We had a new lady and her daughter come with us as well. I think it would have been nice if I were able to stay with the group and maybe get to know them a little better, but my kids are just too darn fast and I was really struggling to keep up with them. I actually had to ask them to slow down because I was starting to get light-headed at one point. I guess that's what happens when you don't get much cardio in the previous week.

Ugh, I had a horrible food weekend. Started out Friday with eating 1/2 a bag of doritos, and some chocolate... not good at all. Saturday was no better. I finished off that bag of doritos :( Yesterday started out good. I ate my normal, under 400 calorie breakfast. Then I took the kids running. When we came back home my BF decided that he was going to make lunch. I really do appreciate the fact that he made lunch. It's always nice when I don't have to cook. However, he made me 3 of those Jimmy Dean Sausage croissants... I looked at him and told him he was insane. I gave one of them to my daughter. Ate the other two... against my better judgement...

Dinner was no better. I had promised to make my daughter her favorite dish for dinner (late birthday dinner). We call it Tater Tot Casserole. It's so yummy, but high in calories. I accidentally used 2x the butter that it calls for too, so that made it even worse. I haven't yet figured out the caloric content of it, but I know it's bad. I'll be putting that in my tracker today.

Now, about the gym.... I've decided that I'm going to join one. I've checked out this gym in the past and I've really wanted to join. It only costs $29 to sign up and $10 a month thereafter. I haven't joined yet because they don't offer childcare :( However, I decided to check them out again this morning. Come to find out, they are open 24/7!! That makes me sooo excited :D Basically that means if I get up an extra hour early every day then I can make time to workout. I can get out of the house and use a treadmill, elliptical, rowing machine, bike, or whatever my heart desires!!! That also means I can have some "mommy time" without hearing "Mom, Mom, Mom, Mom....." 8 million times an hour, lol.

While writing this I am suddenly inspired to put on my workout clothes and turn on my BL season 1 workout (only reason I got it was because it was cheap and my budget sucks!). I'm probably going to just do the whole thing this morning since I have time... No one will be getting up for at least the next 3 hours.

    I did manage to get my cardio in. I was just way too tired after to try for the ST part. Today isn't much better since I had some major stomach issues last night. Tomorrow is a new day and I'm getting up early to get some more cardio in :)
