Hello Spark Friends,

Last Friday I bought a bunch of Hostess Donuts and Hostess Donettes as the company went out of business. Something possessed me to get in the car and go get these many boxes of “food” that now sit in the living room laughing at me. Trust me, I will not be eating them. Of course, I do plan to become wealthy by selling them on the internet:

And then I had a tiny crisis of conscience. Aren’t I supposed to be a role model of the healthy way of life now?

I guess I’m pursuing Spark People who don’t know they should be here yet. If you have anything to add to my posts above, please comment on them and say what I forgot to say.

I’m the Number One Result on multiple Google searches for the whole Hostess Crisis, so anything you say will be seen forever. Right now five people an hour are reading about how to freeze hostess products and maybe they would rather be here reducing portion sizes instead.

A year from now, people will say, “No! Hostess did NOT go out of business”, and then check the internet to see if it’s true. People will still be led to these posts and hopefully to better health as well. I think this is a good way for me to pass on just a little bit of the Spark I got from Chris Downie on October 10, 2007. If just one person makes a very small change and turns it into a habit, I will be very happy, grateful and proud of myself.
