Early Risers

Monday, November 19, 2012

I have been getting up at 4 am every morning for 10 days now because of the 5 deer hunters who have been staying with me. I have to say, once you get used to it, it's easy and gives you lots of time in the morning to get your exercises in and plan your meals for the day. When they leave, I'll fall back to my usual wake up time of 5 am.

Early risers are active people. The trick is getting to bed early to get that all important 8 hours.

Agreed...well, I can't say I know anything about the hunting life, but I do get up early most days (bt 5 and 5:30) to workout, b/c if I don't do it then, it won't get done!
When I 'sleep in' (like to 7am), I feel behind the 8 ball immediately, and then can never catch up during the day, and also feel much more sluggish in general.

OK, it's getting 'late', almost 7am. Gotta go tackle the day. Have a good one.

Its been early rising for me due to deer season as well! Unfortunately as my husband is still snoring, (slept in) I am up , but it does make the day so much longer, and more productive!! Have a great day!! Good luck to the hunters emoticon
