i am having a lot of fun at the gym trying out new classes as part of a gym challenge. for each group of classes that i do (cardio, strength or mind/body) i get a free pass. i got two free passes so far, which meant i could bring a friend with me to pilates, which has been a lot of fun. i wanted her to join again this friday, which meant doing 3 strength classes before then (to get the free pass). this morning, i went to a 'killer abs' class. tomorrow, i need to go to one called '24' and then one more strength class this week and i'll be all set!
it has been nice to feel like i'm working out for someone else for a change. i am my own motivation, and that works for me, but now it feels like an added incentive.
