Splish, splash - I'm an Aqua Zumba Instructor!

Sunday, November 18, 2012

Today, a friend and I went to Joplin to for our Aqua Zumba Instructor Training. We had a blast and learned a lot (though we're going to be SORE tomorrow)! Tony Witt, the trainer who lead my B1, didn't disappoint and brought his signature fun style to the class. It was a very long day, but I feel so blessed to have had this opportunity.

Yay, I'm an Aqua Zumba Instructor!

The only aqua zumba class I have seen was in Akumal, Mexico last spring where the instructor danced on the pier and the parfticipants were in the ocean. A beautful sight to behold! In April I will join this class when we return for our annual trip to paradise....with lots and lots of sunscreen!

I am trying to get our YMCA director to add zumba to the current aquatics program, but he is happy just to offer two different levels of zumba in the gym.

I haven't taken the plunge on this training yet, but I have heard so many great things about Aqua Zumba! I'm sure that you will have many jobs lined up soon!
