Goals week of Thanksgiving

This week is a busy one, in spite of it being so busy I AM making a decision to make it as healthy as possible. Including being mindful of what I eat & drink. As all those wonderful foods are made I WILL keep my hands off until it's time to eat. I WONT nibble on everything before we sit down to eat.

Here's my plan for fitness this week:

Sunday - Playing with the kids
Monday - Gym for 1-1/2 hours (treadmill, elliptical, & bike + strength)
Tuesday - Major house cleaning, including mopping floors on hands & knees
Wednesday - Gym including meeting with PT for my own personal routine (using Paul's right now)
Thursday - Running around like a chicken with my head cut off emoticon making sure house is clean enough for family coming over.
Friday - I'm not quite sure about this day as the kids have the day off with dentist appts & whatnot.
Saturday - Whatever we end up doing

Everyday - Eat within Calorie range & drink lots & lots of water! - EVEN on Thanksgiving!!!

It's funny how things are kind of falling into place. This morning we were convinced we were going to have Papa Murphy's pizza for dinner and by the time we were done with our conversation we were settle on my healthier beef stroganoff. This isn't the first time in the last week we have talked ourselves out of buying pizza. Pretty amazing, since in the past we would have been like okay...Pizza it is!

Sounds like that changing your mind on the pizza is a great non-scale victory--way to go!!!

    Way to go on planning your week and Thanksgiving. I believe having a plan in motion will help keep us from over indulging. I have to say the healthy beef stroganoff sounds way more yummy than pizza...great job on that!

    Great work!

by the way, I make sure i EAT bREAKFAST THE DAY OF A hOLIDAY DINNER AND I eat a healthy snack beforehand, so that I don't get so hungry I overindulge. I can sample, and portion control.

    This looks amazing. You can totally do all of this, easily!

I could use people like you in my new SparkTeam! People who are planners and schedulers like me. :)

I was noticing that some of the SparkTeams that I had joined were lacking in support. For example, the leaders of my SP Class SparkTeam are completely invisible. It's as if they don't exist. While I understand that people have busy lives, I need a place to come and find motivation from close friends who have similar goals.

I also am passionate about challenges and would love to start some in which we can all participate.
