Trying to figure out what to eat has always been the trouble. Macronutients, micronutrients, my head starts spinning. I have recently been drawn to decreasing carb intake and increasing protein. The following is for my reference due to my recalculating as I lose weight....
PROTEIN = 0.5 to 0.8 per pound of body weight
CARBS = under 50 grams
FAT = remaining calories of the day
TOTAL CALS = 1200 to 1500 cals
1 gram of fat = 9 cals
1 gram of carb or protein = 4 calls
