Get Rid of It

Sunday, November 18, 2012

I've hit my 15lbs weight loss today and I've been feeling good and bad about it.

Good because they're gone, but bad that I had them to lose in the first place!

I've started and deleted this blog a few times throughout the day, this is the final draft.

I don't want to post anything more negative than this.

Focus on the positive...what have you learned about yourself in the process of getting rid of the weight? Everything happens for a reason...maybe you know more about you and your abilities because you felt you needed to get rid of it. Maybe you are a stronger person now because of this part of your journey!

Don't feel bad because you had to get rid of a few pounds; instead rejoice because they are gone!

It's very hard work to get to our goals, and we each deserve a pat on the back for each and every pound that we get rid of.

Although I gained 2.6 pounds on vacation, I don't begrudge that weight gain, I didn't worry overly much while vacationing, and feel it will give me more incentive to be good in the few days I have left before Thanksgiving. We all need to ease up on the guilt, give ourselves a little reward now and then -- but then get down to business. It is the worse sin to cheat on yourself -- so don't forget those bites that you don't write down. They are still there, and your scale will find them.
