Well it was a quick weekend. Had to work on Saturday, went to the office until about 1:00, then came home and watched my football game. Did some laundry and housekeeping while I watched so it was a fairly productive afternoon. Went to Jo-Ann's and found some fabric to use for my headboard. Washed it and will get it put together soon!

This morning I had to stay checked in with work for a couple of hours. Ran out and got my oil changed so I'm ready for my trip to Michigan this week. This afternoon we went to my boyfriend's mom's house for an early Thanksgiving dinner. I was pretty good, ate quite a bit of turkey, and a large portion of brussel sprouts with a small amount of mashed potatoes with no gravy. Then just a small serving of blueberry buckle for dessert. I felt pretty good about my choices!

After lunch we went and saw "Lincoln" which was a remarkable film. Daniel Day Lewis is an incredible actor and there were several other actors that delivered fantastic performances. Thumbs up for sure!

I am very much looking forward to this week - my new asssistant starts working with me tomorrow so my team is finally whole - hurray! And I am leaving work early on Wednesday and driving up to my parents in Michigan to spend the holiday with them and my brother's family. I have not been away from work on a weekday since July, and have not had multiple days off including weekends in at least a few months, so this almost feels like a vacation!

Hope everyone has a great week!
