My first week or two.

Well my start to my new Sparkpeople hasn't been too bad! I got off to a really good start tracking food, probably the best I have ever done. I have been drinking a lot of water. (Easier at work than at home). I have cut down on how much pop I am drinking. I had TOM in there which was not easy on me. The only 'bad' time I have had was the past couple days. I went to lunch with a friend and 2 fundraisers for people I know with health issues...food and baked goods all over the place.

I lost about 5 pounds just changing the way I eat and what I am drinking! I haven't started exercising yet. I need to get the treadmill set up but I am a pretty active person so it is not like I am sitting around all the time. Plus I don't think it is a bad thing to get into a good routine eating and then add the exercise a little later. Probably good to take it one thing at a time at first so it isn't overwhelming and disappointing.

Well I guess that is about it. Happy that things are working out in the beginning. Helps me be optimistic.

    i'm so glad you are back and committed and doing great! congratulations! lucky you to have a treadmill for rainy days or non-work days. once your little lady is running around a playground that can be FUN exercise too, but just staying active and aware of what you eat (and water) is huge. go you!

    I agree! Changing everything at once can be a little shocking. I have had to make changes slowly as well. Whatever works for you and keeps you on track to your goals is what you need to do.
