turned out to be a vegetarian Sunday!

Sunday, November 18, 2012

Really didn't plan this ahead of time, but it's a vegetarian day for me. Had my favorite hot cereal for breakfast (quinoa, pecans and cranberries). Had some veggie burgers in the freezer, so had that for lunch. Had planned to make a vegetarian chili for dinner anyway... figured with so much pulled pork last night and lots of turkey later this week, a veggie chili would be a good balance.

Did 20 minutes on the elliptical - watched the Patriots game while I was doing it, so the exercise didn't seem as long as 20 minutes. Always good to be distracted. ... will be getting three or four minutes of dancing in tonight at the beginning of Sunday Night Football. Love Faith Hill's "I've been waiting all day for Sunday night." ... always hop off the couch and dance around the living room. Good thing I have curtains on the windows!!!

Sounds like you had a great day. Way to go on eating vegetarian more. Never had quinoa with pecans and cranberries; is it in a recipe?
