Before church this morning I decided to get in a run since I missed running yesterday due to DD1's day at the mall. I had recently gotten to the point where I was back to running 5 min and walking 1 min. I was thinking I would just continue to gradually increase the length of the running interval, but then I saw this training plan that went from the 5 min/1min straight to running for 25 or 30 minutes with no walk interval.
I figured maybe I should give it a try, so this morning I did it. I ran all 3 miles without a walk interval! YAY! Now I feel confident that I can get back to my normal running schedule and increase my mileage enough to train for a half marathon this coming February or March...barring any leg injuries, etc. I just gotta keep up with the strength training and keep my legs strong and healthy!
