Don't Judge...Be Kind!

Sunday, November 18, 2012

I read another Sparkers' blog the other day and it was about someone saying something very cruel about her. The person who said it about her was a woman who was a complete stranger. I decided that I will post something about this. Some people are so quick to judge others and don't take the time to judge themselves. Can anyone actually be naive enough to believe that they are perfect and have been given the right to judge others? The only person who ever lived that was perfect is Jesus and He chose NOT to judge. When the woman who was caught in adultery was brought to Him and others were wanting to stone her, He said "Let him who is without sin cast the first stone." At least none of them thought they were perfect because they dropped their stones and left. Jesus DID have a right to judge her and instead of judging, He granted grace and forgiveness. The Bible tells us NOT to judge and that if we do, we will be judged in the same measure that we judge others. Here are some pics that tell the story!

Have a blessed day everyone and be kind to others and yourself!

I just had a discussion like this with my goddaughter. I finally got in touch with her on Facebook as she hasn't spoken to her mother in over 6 months. She jumped all down my throat thinking I was there to side with her mother. Heck, I knew her mother since she was 16 and her mother was a wild child, for sure. So she's getting back what she gave.

But I had to tell my beautiful 19-yo goddaughter that I am the last person to judge someone as I have done it all - the good, the bad, and the illegal. But I changed my life so much half the people who were "aquaintences" and not true friends would not even recognize me. And that is just that. I have no room to judge as I have done my fair share of bad things and I have to live with that every day.

Thank you for sharing.

What Slenderella said! ONe thing I don't miss about being in a middle school is all the negativity from students. No matter how positive, energized, creative, and prepared I was, the negativity got the best of me.

while I try not to judge (not perfect myself) and try to separate the 'sin' from the "sinner", I've learned as a 52 year old that some people faults are not going to change and you have to accept that and either move on or somehow tolerate it. Some sins and habits, etc are too much to not judge to a degree and that person may have to be let go from our lives for our own peace of mind.

great blog love.i have just read a similar blog myself and replied the person who said to her probably has such a low selfesteem that to make her feel better she has to find a fultor bring the other person down.i adviced her that next time she see´s this person she gives her a compliment and everytime she talks or meets her give her a compliment that he self esteem will improve enough that she doesn´t see the need to pull other people down to feel better herself.maybe trying to see the reason why someone does something might help us understand more.it wont make the thing any righter but it might make us more considerate ofour fellow man. emoticon
