I had done Thanksgiving with my family for 38 years! I was spoiled to say the least, even the 12 years I had to cook it I was still spoiled. Last year my hubby's family decided they didn't want to be strangers anymore which I am happy about. Last year we went to his sister's house for Thanksgiving and had to bring rolls, which is the perfect thing for us to bring no cooking, doesn't have to stay warm, can't mess it up:perfect! This year we are going to his mother's house...we only have to bring anything "special" we would like to drink. Is ice tea special? I think I will bring a few packets for water with me just in case, Green Tea is so much better than soda. I am afraid as to what will be there for food besides turkey...if I wasn't having so much trouble these days, I know most of my problem is motivation, but I am afraid of eating something that I think might not be as bad as it really is. If this was not the first time we were going to her house EVER I would just ask what is on the menu, but I don't want to possibly ruffle any feathers when my hubby has a better relationship with my family then he does his own I don't want to mess that up. Well I have to go to the home improvement store we need a new thermostat and the hubby was just called into work so I have to go by myself.
