The Final WUB: 10... let's stop kidding ourselves... I'm not retiring :-P
1. Lose 20lbs, 20 inches.
~ The final weight count is 274.4, that's 17 pounds lost!
~ I lost 7.5 inches.
~ So I was short by 12.5 inches and 3 pounds for my 10 week goal, but that's fine. I lived my life, I ran about 2 to 3 times a week, and to think next season I may even be in the 250's!

2. Run a 5k in under 43.5 minutes
~ 39:21

3. Track my food and water every day
~ Goal!

4. Continue my 10k training, push up training, sit up training, and squat training.
~ I ran my 10k! I see improvement in push ups and sit ups. Next week is a running break, but I should do strength training.

5. Run a 10k in under 90 minutes!
~ 1:28:58 on November 17th

If you comment on any of my blogs today. This one. :-P

6. Run a mile in 10 minutes
~ 10:45, I see the number 10 IN the time... so Imma go with it.

7. Read one Bible chapter a day (or 7 a week)
~ 0/7 :-( But I went to church and a worship service that had scripture on the wall so I read that.

8. Take update pics
~ I'll post them tonight.

9. Make money
~ Finally got an interview with the company for Monday! Hopefully it's the real one.

10. Encourage my team in some way each week.
Goal! It's up to them now :-P But in all seriousness, hopefully they'll stick around.

Dear Hal2013

Now that you're reading this, it's been 6 months. Multiply the amount of weight you've lost by 3. In two years can you imagine yourself that far?

Run that 5k tomorrow! (or the next day depending on if we have a job yet :-P) Start 2013 with a bang and keep going!

You've probably slacked off a little bit, but that's fine if you just pick yourself back up and continue on. I know by now you've completed your third Spark People running planů and if you haven't you better have a darned good reason why you haven't like your foot fell off or you have pneumonia or something of the sort.

Don't pay too much attention to these new losers (in the nicest possible way) sure they may lose the weight you've lost in about 3 months, but you're learning on the way, and come June I'm sure you'll still be sticking around with this plan and these goals.

Now for the shocking question: Are you someone that doesn't want to be the guy you were in mid November?

Now go out and earn yourself a 5k that's under 30 minutes this year! And would it hurt to land yourself a career in graphic design or a wife? I mean seriously not to go all nagging parent on you but you're not getting any younger or anything...

- Hal2012

You have done amazingly well, Hal, and you are a major source of inspiration to me! You are a big reason why I've been trying to improve my fitness now, and not waiting until I'm closer to my goal weight. So thanks for that, and I look forward to hearing about all the great things going on in your life in the future!!
