CREATING YOURSELF!

Sunday, November 18, 2012

Life isnít about finding yourself.†Life is about creating yourself Ė George Bernard Shaw

It is 2:00 & I am awake. I went to bed at 9 & I guess 5 hours was enough for now-lol! This quote seems to fit how I feel right now. With Randy gone my whole life is changing again. I have more me time to concentrate on my health & fitness. Yesterday I did 30 min of WATP. I am going to start a new routine either today or Monday, depending how my ears feel, back with the treadmill & I will learn to enjoy it again, rather than see it as boring. Spring will come again & then I can walk outside but for now I will be content with my treadmill. It is time to sync my body with my mind again. I also cleaned up Randy's room & put away everything he left behind so I can ship it to him if he needs it. Riding his bike he could not take very much with him. Then I focused on the dining room & have it all straightened up again, polished the furniture. Also vacuumed & washed the kitchen floor so I would say I did get some cardio in for the day. I also talked with Randy & an relieved he got there safe.

Affirmation of the day:
I AM a perfect example of health and fitness.

My Positives:
A new day with a new attitude
My Hubby
My Son
My Spark Family
The Lord for carrying me when I do not have the strength.

Glad to know your son Randy got there safe. Now you have more time to take care yourself. That is a good thing. You will have good time with your treadmill
I also have a treadmill too,and I am so glad that I got it. With treadmill, rain or shine, early or late at night. Almost anytime of the day, you have opportunity to get some cardio work out. This was a very good investment of my life. Off course I love to go out side and to my community park for walking. But I like my treadmill. When I walking on it I am also browsing web, listening music, reading e-mail and sometime sparking too. It's very nice time consuming.

I like today's quote and affirmation as usual. Thanks for sharing !!

That quote was a very good one for all of us. Your husband and son are very fortunate to have you as their wife and mother! You are so inspiring and work so hard, I think all of your Spark Friends can see that! emoticon

Nice to hear that you are going to start up a new exercise regime. I don't like these days when it's so dark in the morning and dark so early in the evening. On the bright side, total hours of daylight will start to lengthen after the first week of January or thereabouts, that's only about 8 weeks away - woohoo! At least you've got the treadmill and your exercise DVD's to vary up your routine to keep up with your affirmation. Luv today's quote - we are a constant work in progress!!!

It is nice to hear that your ear is feeling much better and you have no pain anymore. And also good to sync mind and body. I am going to need it so badly and I am sure I will make difference. And also good to hear Randy got there safely. Hope you enjoy the weekend

I am still not used to the empty nest. I missed talking to my daughter on a daily basis, although we still talk a couple of times a week. I especially miss my son who lives in Florida now, especially since he and his wife had a baby - my first grandchild - a few months ago.

I set up my treadmill near a TV and I have a set of DVDs that I only allow myself to watch when on the treadmill. It does help break up the monotony.
