I seem to be coming down with a cold...

Sunday, November 18, 2012

I've got the sneezing, aching, sore throat, tossing and turning blues. I'm going to try to rest and get better fast as we have family and friends from out of state visiting for Thanksgiving. I have a good motive to get well fast.

It's a week later, feeling better? Two weeks ago I had a nasty cold, took most of the week off from workouts, wasn't feeling a whole lot better so I tried some light cardio. That did more to clear my lungs and sinuses than anything I had been taking.

I got sick in the middle of my New Year's Eve party last year, and I have had more colds this year than ever before. I just returned from China with another one.

I have a struggle when I get a gold. I think I deserve to eat whatever kind of crap I want, and I end up sicker.

So I am working on changing that mentality because it does nothing to make me feel better, move better, or look better.

I hope you get well soon and enjoy your holiday.

Enjoy the time with the family.
Happy Thanksgiving to all of you.
Loved the Japanese proverb by the way.
I wish the whole world would adopt it!
