Well I won't win any consistency awards this month

Sunday, November 18, 2012

I AM being consistent with my exercise - ST each morning, walking between 2 to 5 miles most days.

I AM being consistent with my nutrition and water - lots of water, aiming for low fat and lean protein and whole grain and fruit or veg each meal.

I'm also getting my 7 to 8 hrs of sleep each night. And I'm living a mostly unstressful life on the road.

What I'm NOT being consistent about is tracking online - anything! I'm tracking when we have internet access and the time to do it. I'm not tracking when we're trekking through ancient forests, or playing on the beach, or wandering around quaint villages.

But I'm having fun!

You are livin' the vida loca! And sounds like you're having a ball. Please don't wast any time worrying over not tracking. If life is working for you, you don't need a trip to the repair shop! I am woefully behind on looking at your adventure blog, but I will! Glad you are doing well and enjoying your grand adventure! emoticon

as long as you are *doing it* - that's what counts, even if you don't manage to track it. i finally decided that the important thing when traveling is fitting in what needs to be done, and if you can track, fine, but if not - you're still doing what you need to do! enjoy those ancient forests, beaches, and quaint villages!

    Fun is important too.

I stopped tracking because of the inconvenience of it all. I then found that I lapsed into bad portion-control habits. Bit by bit, incrementally, but I did. Enough of that. Back to the Sparky grind...

    Have a great trip!
