Blessed with a great family!

Saturday, November 17, 2012

I had a wonderful day. We celebrated Thanksgiving with my children and their families. It was such a blessing to sit at the table and see my children and grandchildren. We were missing my youngest daughter as she was out of town.

I was careful with my portions - tried a little of everything, but didn't take seconds. I had a small breakfast and for supper I had the pumpkin dessert my daughter made, so I stayed within my calorie range!!

We had fun walking around downtown seeing the booths and friends. It is funny how sometimes Starlighting is the only time I see some people during the year. Once the star was light we watched the "Fourth of July" fireworks. Because of the fires here in Colorado, the fireworks were cancelled on the Fourth, so the town did the display tonight. It was great!

This morning after I put the turkey in the oven I walked on the treadmill for a little over half an hour. Then with all the walking downtown, I was able to get in a total of 120 minutes of cardio today.

My family is coming for our meal today at 1:00 or as soon thereafter as we can all get together. I hope I can be "good" with the choices I make like you did. Thanks for the motivation. emoticon
