We prepared ~ 12 pounds of ground beef last night for jerky.
This AM wrapped sticky side plastic wrap on rolling pin, divided grass fed seasoned ground beef into fifths and started rolling on the 5 para flex sheets. When rolled out, brushed with aminos (one with JD) and freshly ground pepper. Into the dehydrator on 155.
One hour later I turned them and removed the para flex sheets, turning down to 145.
Another hour later turned and removed the small whole plastic sheets, leaving the large grids.
They were thicker than last week so cooked for 8-9 hours.
Wow, they are better than last week.
Planned and printed all of Thanksgiving dinner. Shop tomorrow.
Did laundry and sold Vita-Mix, bought a new 6300 at Costco. What a hoot, it is the 8th I have purchased. Had a 4000, sold to a friend and upgraded to the 5200 ~ 5 years ago and put it on Craigslist last night.
