I weighed myself this morning, and I have dropped below 180 pounds! Just barely, but it counts. I only have 6.8 pounds until I am at a healthy BMI, and 19.8 pounds until I get to my dream weight. Less than 20 pounds to go! Woohoo!!
Plans today went as scheduled... for a change. Cooper and I walked out to the farm this morning (3.5 miles in just over an hour), I made lunch with mom (bbq spareribs, with brown rice, green beans and a salad), and then my brother and I got the kayaks hung from the rafters in the barn, so they are safely stored for the winter. Getting the boats up there was an adventure. Thank goodness for pulleys! We also hot all the paddling gear out of my brother's car and safely stowed in bins. I put it down as 10 minutes of moving boxes in my fitness tracker, but it was probably closer to 20 minutes of heavy lifting. At one point I was standing on a chair (the floor is gravel, so it wasn't steady), with my arms fully extended over my head, supporting the entire weight of a kayak for several minutes... and thinking "there must be a safer way to do this!" lol!! But it worked and no one got hurt, so it is all good.
I am looking forward to a day with absolutely nothing scheduled tomorrow. I know I will walk the dog at least twice, but there is no time frame, other than his bladder. I will probably hop on the bike after our morning walk, but nothing is set in stone. As long as I get my 2 hours of moderate exercise I will call it a success!
I can hardly believe it... 140 pounds gone now. That is a full-sized adult!
