College Football as Cardio

Saturday, November 17, 2012

I don't love ALL college football, but I DO love Texas A&M football, and watching a game even from the comfort of my home TV room, is a participatory event...

I jump up and down.

A LOT.

They are especially good at getting my heart pumping...

I don' suppose that counts as cardio, does it?

I used to do a circuit workout during football games. it was easy to do plyos when my team made a good play.

I think it counts. You just have to time how long you jump, and then call it skipping rope.

LOL It should!! My mom is in the hospital right now... she went in this morning. Get this...the ultrasound tech came to do an ultrasound on my mom's heart while she was watching the VA. Tech game. I told the tech she picked an unusual time to do that as she'll get an EXTREMELY active heart from someone who yells when her team does bad. The tech looked at the heart rate monitor and cracked up because the heart beat was literally dancing.
