Restraunt trap !

Yesterday we ate out and i done pretty good only i had a side of a salad and used 2 packs of blue cheese dressing ! emoticon Lots of sodium and calories so i thought about it and most of the time i am going to get applesauce instead as one of my sides or maybe cottage cheese tho it is alittle high in sodium it is healthy for you ! This has been a pretty good week for me i am feeling better and even felt like playing the piano ! Hopefully next week won't be as busy so i can have more down time for me ! We are having vegetable soup for dinner tonight and probably the first of the week i will make a pot of chilli ! Right now i just don't have time to can any soup it might be after the holidays before i can. We are eating out for thanksgiving it will probably just be me and DH . I am going to bake him a pumpkin pie i want to try a new pie crust recipe ! Does anyone have a good flaky crust recipe? I thought i would check for an amish recipe ! emoticon DH is watching ohio state right now and so far they are ahead so he is happy ! emoticon Hope you have a great sabbath day tomarrow it's a good time to say some extra thank you's that we have a warm home and food on our table alot of people don't ! emoticon emoticon emoticon

    It's amazing how even getting "healthy" food when eating out isn't as healthy as it could be.

    It is great that you got out, and trying to eat healthy. I don't get out to eat much. But I have gotten a roasting chicken from the grocery store, and cut it up for dinner for several days and salads. I love chicken.

    Amen to giving thanks! Good reality check on your meal choices both future and recent past! I agree; cottage cheese and applesauce will make much healthier side choices for next time. emoticon

    Wow! 2 packets of dressing is a ton for a salad that small. I don't even use one. Applesauce and cottage cheese would be better choices instead of all of that dressing.
