I've been having a mix of good days and bad days since October. October was the worst month. I got into a routine with working so find myself with alot of time on my hands being out of work again. I have another job lined up that starts on December 10th, I have orientation on December 6th for a couple of hours. It is great to know that I have a job lined up. As of today I have lost 59 pounds, that made me feel great today!

My knee has been bothering me for a few days now it hurts alot and my kneecap is sliding around. I put it in a knee brace and that is helping. I'm going to call the Dr office on Monday to make an appointment. I haven't had a problem with it like this since I was 18. I was told in my teen years that it is a birth defect in my knees and I would have to have surgery but that couldn't be done until I was 21. I have it in both knees but it is the right knee that gives me fits. As I haven't had a problems with it since I was 18 never pursued the surgery. I haven't done my yoga or strength training routines as they aggravate my knee. Walking is ok as long as I am wearing the brace. So I have done two 60 minute walking sessions each day.

Bryce(my oldest child) and I went to the Denver Zoo yesterday and had a great time! The new exhibit area that they have been working on for years opened this year and is called Elephant Passage. I was disappointed as it is smaller than I envisioned it was to be, my son also thought it would be larger than what it is. It is a bigger area for the elephants than their old exhibit however. It was so strange to go to the zoo and not seeing Mimi the elephant she passed away a couple of months ago, you could see the sadness in Dolly the remaining elephant. They were friends for such a long time. What I really enjoyed about the elephant passage exhibit is the freedom and room that the gibbons have. The male gibbon was on a rope that went over the area in which we were walking I could have got a great picture of her if I could have entered the password on my phone faster so I could access the camera on my phone. So I missed my oppurtunity for a great picture. We spent about 4 hours at the zoo left earlier thatn we wanted to as my knee starting hurting. With the cooler temps not many of the animals were out. These are the only decent pictures that I got at the zoo yesterday.
