Incredible! I set a goal and achieved it - well several goals actually.
It all started with the 10 minutes of exercise a day. That blossomed seamlessly to being active on a regular basis. Then came the 5% Fall Challenge which seemed like both a big and long term goal. But, one step at a time, one bite at a time, I DID it.
Now I am 23 pounds closer to my 70 pound goal. I can't tell you how many times that I have quit on myself and tried to come to terms with living the rest of my life as a fat lady.
My body is changing, my energy and spirits are up, and I look younger. I am moving mountains (of fat) and starting to find the little woman who is hiding under there. The most important thing is that I feel powerful instead of powerless.
Thank you to all of my Spark Friends who support me every day. I could not make this journey without you.
