Timothy crossed the rainbow bridge today.
We took our last walk out to the barn this morning and I can honestly say I have never felt such pain. He was the best little dog ever and was there for me for thirteen great years together. Right now I feel like this hole in my heart will never heal. He died peacefully in my arms and I know he is in a better place now. I love you Timothy. Rest in sweet peace. You will forever be remembered and missed.

I am so sorry for your loss of Timmy. No one can tell you how to grieve. Each of us will grieve in our way and our own time. There is also no time limit on grief. You sound so much like I felt when Tyler passed. I didn't know from one minute to the next if I was going to be crying and believe me I cried gallons and gallons of tears. I was unable to sleep or eat for a while...finally had to force myself to eat due to health issues being made worse. I had tons of pictures of Tyler on my computer and would see one and cry again. Now I can look at them and remember the good times and all the fun everyone had with him.
A loss leaves a heartache no one can heal, but love leaves a memory no one can steal. May you find comfort in those loving memories of your time with Timmy. He has been yours on loan from God for a long time, although not nearly long enough. He was such a fighter and a great love and inspiration to you.
What moves through us is a silence, a quiet sadness, a longing for one more day, one more touch, you may not understand why he left this earth so soon, or why he left before you were ready to say good-bye, but little by little, you begin to remember not just that he died, but that he lived. And that his life gave you many memories too beautiful to forget!!! Take comfort in your love for him and his for you.

I am so very sorry for your loss. I feel I know what you are going through. I lost my BFF May of 2011 and I still miss her greatly. She was it for me. She was there for the very most difficult times in my life. She had cancer and then went into remission for 4 years. it was a true miracle. Then the cancer came back. The end was not as graceful as I would have liked but I too was there.

It sounds like you were a great Mom to Timothy. I needed quite a bit of support for quite some time. I would just be hit out of the blue, especially when I was tired or going through a difficult time. Please feel free to reach out at any time. Know that I am here.

Oh, Francesca, I am so sorry. I know Ozzie only has a few more years ahead of him at best, and I am already trying to brace myself for the loss. Our dogs are each so unique and irreplaceable, such a huge part of our lives, if only they had longer life spans so we wouldn't have to say goodbye so soon. My heart is with you as you grieve.

My Dear, Sweet friend i have no words for you....I know the pain and i so wish i was there to give you a hug and be with you. I am so very very sorry. You gave Timothy such a precious gift holding him when he passed...you are forever my hero for that.

I'm in shock. I had no idea! Was that divine pooch sick? What comfort for Timothy, dying in the arms of the beloved. He will probably come back as an Enlightened Being!
