Okay--planning ahead for Thanksgiving and Christmas.
First of all--keep up with the exercise. That helps keep me from gaining.
And what about eating?
Here are the situations that worry me--being in social situations that cause me anxiety AND the have good snacks available. I tend to eat eat eat. And that includes when it's happy anxiety. I've been trying over the years to just not start in on ongoing eating. Maybe make a plate and then throw away or return the plate so it isn't in my hand. And not hang out around the table where the crackers/chips and dip are within reach.
And then having cookies in the house after our party. Last year, I took them in to work. And I can do that again this year.
Mostly I want to be intentional about what I eat...there's always so much food around, and I know that I can ingest a LOt of it just picking up a bite here or there.
I want to start the new year with some new fitness goals, and at least want to manage the holiday season well enough that i won't have to start the new year behind where I am right now.
And really--I LOVE the holidays! Bring 'em on!
