In Titus 2:11 Paul wrote of " the grace of God that brings salvation." What is grace? I like to define it as God's riches at Christ expense. God's grace has appeared to all men, revealed in Jesus Christ. He gave Himself for us. The sinless Son of God became the perfect sacrifice for sin. His life, His death, His resurrection and His ascension all reveal God's grace. God's grace continues to be evident to us today through the Bible. God's Word continues to reveal God's favor to all people.
Understanding God's grace should make a lasting impression on every believer. His grace should give us a desire to please God, to conform our lives to His will, to say No to ungodliness and worldly passions, and to live self controlled upright and godly lives. vs 12 We ought to be all the more eager to reject ungodly living in view of the approaching return of Jesus. , who gave Himself for us. vs 16 to purchase us from a life of wickedness and to make us His very own. vs 14
Are you living in light of these glorious truths?
