I don't really have anyone trying to sabotage me, in my healthy living. I myself can be my own worst enemy. My plan now is to keep a daily menu, which includes snacks. If I feel like having a piece of choc. or a pastry, I do it in moderation. With the holidays coming, I'm already thinking a head of the days. I have selected some desserts from Sparkpeople and I'm already for my new pumpkin pie. I've already modified my fat intake for the veggies, and knowing it will be hard I'm opting out of the gravy and skin of the turkey. I want this to be a fantastic Thanksgiving.

    Though we are going out to eat, I will be making some of my sugar- and fat-free pumpkin custard to eat in the place of pumpkin pie.

    Having a plan is the only way to success. I have started using a digital food scale to control portions, which keeps me accountable.

I'm (after trying every other diet out there) going the HFLC way, also the Paleo is good, then you wouldn't have to eliminate that turkey skin that you crave.

HFLC is for people with metabolic syndrome where they have trouble with blood sugar and carbs.

Wonderful you are planning ahead for the Holidays. Hope they are great for you.
