GRATEFUL TO LEARN
We should be grateful we have opportunities to learn something every day. There are lessons just from our daily life experiences. There are courses to take online or in a classroom setting. There are books to read. We can learn from others and their experiences. Our learning opportunities are endless. However, the most important book we need to learn from is the Bible. When we put God’s word at the top of our resource list from which to learn, we will know what lessons He wants to teach us and we will better understand the purpose He has for us.
Colossians 1:10 “Then the way you live will always honor and please the Lord, and your lives will produce every kind of good fruit. All the while, you will grow as you learn to know God better and better.” (NLT)
Dear Lord, help us today to take advantage of our learning opportunities. Help us to look for lessons in the day and reflect on how You want us to improve. Help us to, first and foremost, seek what You want to teach us in our daily walk with You and to be grateful for the lessons in life. We may not always know right away what the lesson is or why we have to experience it, but You have a reason for all of our lessons and we are grateful that You care enough to teach us. We want to learn and obey Your word. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
