Why is it, that after a certain age, people want to tell you everything about their illnesses? They talk as if it's ""a Normal"" thing--
It seems to begin after 50------and gets worse from there---
They never mention a great walk they might've been on----or a work-out at the gym--
It seems , they take it for granted, that their life has fallen into this great abyss of aches and pains---

When this happens, as it does often with me----(I seem to have a sign on my forehead which blinks on and off, saying, "'Tell me your problems with your health!"")
Himself is always waiting in the background, eye balling me with that expression , which shows "impatience"--and "oh no, not again"!
He always says, "'Why didn't you just tell them?""
And I hear myself saying, AGAIN, ""Tell them what"?
""That we don't have time to hear all that! --he says--

So------I think it's time I stood up and shouted---GO FOR A WALK PEOPLE-----
But-------I probably won't---say-----------anything

Sparklers--God Bless you all----You keep me sane!

I hear yah - it's sad isn't it. When my DH was a teenager, he used to pick up a group of senior ladies and take them to their socials and what he remembers most about them is how they competed with each other about their aches and pains. Yes, sad!!!

Ah ! But you don't do you? It may not be your age. It may be because people see you as an empathetic listener.

"Be thankful for what you have; you'll end up having more. If you concentrate on what you don't have, you will never, ever have enough."
~Oprah Winfrey

Our health and our wealth is in direct portion to our gratitude - of that I am convienced.

Everyone teaches us lesson on how we want to be and on how we don't want to be. Just another lesson learned.

Hugs, Sunny

Well, I won't tell you about those things! How's this?....... Last night, Indi decided she wanted a few new friends. I guess she was bored. So a friendly little guy walked into our yard. Indi saw him and thought, he isn't even barking his head off at me, so I will be his friend. She sauntered over to her new friend, tail wagging, ears up, and mouth smiling. Well, Mr. Stuck Up didn't want anything to do with her, so he turned tail and before walking a couple of steps away, promptly sprayed her all over her face, neck, chest, ears, eyes and mouth! She was so upsest, she ran into our house and rubbed her burning eyes, face, etc. all over the furniture and carpet! Mr. and I were out shopping. We received a nice phone call from our daughters. "Mom, I have some bad news. Indi just got sprayed by a skunk, she is in the house, and the skunk won't leave the backyard! I had a wonderful night.

How was your day? I know, but I did take my walk and ride my exercise bike in the morning! I will stop and smell the roses today, if I can find them, and if I can smell them! I think my nose is fried.

Have a great weekend, Lynda. emoticon emoticon emoticon

You make me laugh! I seem to bring that out in people as well; maybe they think we can cure all their woes? I cringe sometimes when I read FB posts and marvel at how much people are willing to share with the world, yet we can't get a doctor to release information on our own children without written consent!
