I want real food

Friday, November 16, 2012

Since I got back from the oral sureon's off, had no real pain from the procedure but I did take plll just in case

However eating food is horrible I want real food but right now all I can eat is applesauce, mashed potatoes and chocolate pudding Not allowed to have any real food until I see the dentist on Monday and he adjusts the partial for more comfort

If this does not cause me to loose weight not sure what will

Fhe partial that was put in is the problem not the oral surgery itself.

Hope you can have real food after seeing the dentist on Monday, but some how I don't think you will able to chew.

OUCH! I feel you pain (literally). I once had to have two wisdom teeth pulled at once and couldn't eat for a couple of days. I hope you feel better quickly.

Oral surgery is how my mother lost all of her weight many years ago. Hopefully yours will not last as long. Rest and enjoy your weekend.

Glad the pain is not there. Remember, behind every cloud, there is a silver lining.

I would go for a fruit smoothie. I know you aren't supposed to use a straw after tooth extractions but you could spoon eat it...there's also sugar free jello which is really good and is only like 10 calories, mashed bananas, peanut butter (for some protein) milkshakes, etc. Get creative :) Hope you feel better soon. I just went through this 2 weeks ago. I still haven't recovered feeling in a portion of my chin/cheek area. They said I may have to wait up to a year for the nerve to recover. emoticon

Glad you aren't in pain. Hopefully you can eat real food soon. My hubby had his wisdom teeth pulled and that night he was eating meatloaf.... but of course my meatloaf is very moist so it crumbles easily.

I am glad you have no pain now and hope it stays that way! Last year my daughter got all of her wisdom teeth extracted the day before Thanksgiving! Hopefully you can eat normally by then.
