A "Novel" Idea

Friday, November 16, 2012

I took a hint from another SParker, BROWNCOFIDDLER,
and invested in a "novel" new piece of equipment-Nordic
walking poles. I am so excited to try these out and hope
to see if this won't kick up the cardio a notch or two.
For the small price I paid, I would say it is a wise and
"novel" investment. I'll keep you posted.
Have you tried something "novel" to change up your
cardio routine? It is a good idea to do something
different to move your progress along. Maybe a set
of resistance bands, a jumprope, a stability ball. You
can add weights and if you are working with a tight
budget, grab some canned vegetables and use those
for weights. Be creative and "novel" in your workouts.
And now I am off to dinner with DD and family so I
can come home and try some "novel" new strength
Thanks for stopping by and have a super Saturday. HUGS!

Well, that sounds like fun! And thank you for the reminder to continue my search for some online exercise videos I've been hunting for. It was on my list for today but since the list was made yesterday it quickly became "out of sight, out of mind." Best find that list!!

Have a great Saturday! (You know, I'll bet if you put some points on the ends of those poles you could probably pick up leaves while you're out!)

I hope they are as awesome as you hope they are! I recently bought a "grownup" hula hoop. I actually got it to stay up for 22 rotations! Good luck!
