A cup of coffee, yogurt, and piece of bagel . . . it was so nice to eat real food this morning, however I didn't go overboard. When I got up this morning, I lost another 2.2 pounds. That is a total of 5.7 pounds! I am sure it is mostly water weight. Moreover, I feel good. My bloating is gone, my complexion is clearer, and I have more energy. I believe that I need to be more careful about the kind of food I eat everyday. I have not eaten any complex carbs in three days and my bloating is gone. This makes me think that I am not doing enough with my diet to lose the last 10 pounds.
While this detox is not about weight loss, I am interested to see what happens as I continue better eating habits. It is going to be hard since I am leaving in a half hour to gp out to dinner for southern soulful food. I plan on making the right choices. Looked at the menu and it looks really good but most of the food is fried. These are the times that I need to be strong! I will keep you updated as I continue into the holiday week.
