The Aftermath: Diary of Dr. OZ's Three Day Detox Program

A cup of coffee, yogurt, and piece of bagel . . . it was so nice to eat real food this morning, however I didn't go overboard. When I got up this morning, I lost another 2.2 pounds. That is a total of 5.7 pounds! I am sure it is mostly water weight. Moreover, I feel good. My bloating is gone, my complexion is clearer, and I have more energy. I believe that I need to be more careful about the kind of food I eat everyday. I have not eaten any complex carbs in three days and my bloating is gone. This makes me think that I am not doing enough with my diet to lose the last 10 pounds.

While this detox is not about weight loss, I am interested to see what happens as I continue better eating habits. It is going to be hard since I am leaving in a half hour to gp out to dinner for southern soulful food. I plan on making the right choices. Looked at the menu and it looks really good but most of the food is fried. These are the times that I need to be strong! I will keep you updated as I continue into the holiday week.

    I am more or less in the same situation. Staying for eight days in a gastronomic paradise as Rome it is a hard test... We can make it I guess.

    I'm glad it was good for you. It's not something my Dr would let me do, but if you don't have health issues and it works, why not try it? Hope you enjoy your dinner!
